Adam Sherk is VP SEO and Digital Strategy for Define Media Group, formerly part of The New York Times Company. He has worked in digital marketing since 1996 and has specialized in news search and publisher SEO since 2007.
At Define Adam serves as a consultant and trainer, helping publishers with news SEO, Google Discover, GEO, audience growth and digital strategy.
Prior to that Adam worked for enterprise search marketing firm Global Strategies, now part of WPP Media. Adam was also a vice president at Atomic Public Relations, now part of Grayling, where he helped launch a regional office for the firm.
Earlier in his career Adam was VP of Internet Public Relations at Multimedia Marketing Group, one of the first interactive marketing firms. During that time Adam built an online PR department from scratch. He was also one of the primary builders of Internet News Bureau, an e-mail press release service that was acquired by Internet.com and later became part of Jupitermedia.
